Terms of Service

Last updated: March 2026

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using PennyPath, you agree to these terms of service. If you do not agree, please do not use the application.

2. What PennyPath is

PennyPath is a personal finance tracking tool. It helps you log income, bills, debts, budgets, savings goals, and mortgage details. It provides calculations, charts, and a structured framework (Money Steps) to help you manage your money. PennyPath is a tool for tracking and planning, not a financial advisory service.

3. Not financial advice

Nothing in PennyPath constitutes financial advice. The Money Steps framework, debt payoff strategies (Snowball and Avalanche), mortgage calculations, and savings projections are informational tools only. You should consult a qualified financial adviser before making significant financial decisions. We are not liable for any financial decisions you make based on information shown in the app.

4. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. All financial data you enter is your responsibility to keep accurate. We do not verify the accuracy of any data you enter into the application.

5. Your data

You own your financial data. You can export it at any time and delete your account whenever you choose. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data.

6. Free to use

PennyPath is currently free to use. We reserve the right to introduce paid features in the future, but any data you have already entered will remain accessible to you.

7. Accuracy of calculations

While we strive for accuracy, calculations including debt payoff timelines, mortgage amortisation, savings projections, and interest estimates are approximations. They may not account for all real-world factors such as fees, rate changes, or rounding differences used by your lender. Always verify important calculations independently.

8. Availability

We aim to keep PennyPath available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance or due to circumstances beyond our control.

9. Limitation of liability

PennyPath is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the application.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of PennyPath after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will update the date at the top of this page when changes are made.
